We provide hunts for the following species: |

Our hunting camps are
located in remote areas that are selected for the abundance of
the types of game to be hunted. Since, like you, we love hunting,
we will do our best to ensure success on your hunts so you'll have
memories to last a lifetime. |
Hunting in Alaska can
be more challenging than hunting in other parts of the world due
to its remoteness, topography and unpredictable weather. These
obstacles are offset by the abundance of wildlife and beautiful
scenery. |

Physical Condition.
A physical Exam is recommended. Walking is necessary to pursue
game and you should be prepared for it. The better you walk, the
better your chances of success. Your stamina is far more important
than your speed; work on it! |

Sleeping and Eating. In spike camps we provide tents, cots, food and your guide will do the cooking. When at the lodge you will be provided homestyle meals, comfortable sleeping quarters and showers.
|
|
Communication. Each camp is provided with a high frequency radio to provide communication with the lodge and for emergencies and re-supply. |

Each hunter has his
own guide on most hunts. Your guide is paid to do just that:
take advantage and help him do his job by asking for and listening
to advice. Your guide will do his best to get you a trophy you'll
be proud of. You can expect to walk
3 to 12 miles per day. Your guide will go at your pace, but
the better your stamina, the better your chances of success
and the more enjoyable the hunt will be. |
Transportation Arrangements
![]() |
Plan to arrive in main camp
one day prior to your hunt start date. In most cases, you will
fly commercial airlines into Anchorage, Alaska, where you can
buy your license, tags and any other equipment needed for the
hunt. The most direct and cost
effective way to reach us is by Air Taxi from Anchorage to
the lodge. There are also commercial flights from Anchorage
to Sleetmute. We will arrange and book these flights to and
from the lodge.
Hunter transportation from
the lodge to the hunting camps and back is provided by us and
is included in the hunt cost. |
Trophies will be skinned,
and cared for in camp and at the lodge. Later they will be shipped
to you, your taxidermist, or wherever you wish. |
